This is one of the best-known towers in Japan. At a height of 1,092 feet (333 meters), it used to be the world’s tallest self-supporting steel tower. There are two observation decks to choose from: the main deck at 150m, and the top deck at 250m.
In 2018, Tokyo Tower marks its 60th anniversary since opening and started a new attraction called “Top Deck Tour,” by advance reservation. This iconic red tower is illuminated at night, and the colors and styles change to complement the seasons, and for major events. ‘Foot Town’, at the foot of the tower, has restaurants, an aquarium, souvenir shops and Tokyo Onepiece Tower.
