The beautiful Shinjuku Gyoen is a national garden in the heart of the city, and one of Tokyo’s best cherry blossom viewing areas. The gardens have three dictinct styles – Traditional Japanese, French Formal Garden, and English Landscape. In autumn the red leaves are on display, and in winter the Japanese gardens are particularly scenic covered with snow. This park is enjoyable year-round and immaculately maintained.
