Osaka’s coolest spot for youth culture is America-Mura (American Village), where the streets are packed with trendy clothes, second-hand shops, galleries, cafes, and more. In the 70s this area was full of warehouses selling imported goods from the US, which is how it got its name. On weekends there are live performances by street musicians, as well as flea markets selling unique goods, which makes for a fun and friendly atmosphere.
