The Buddhist temple in Japan known as the Ninja Temple, not because ninjas lived there, but because before it was used as a fort and lookout tower with many countermeasure technologies and mechanisms added by the Maeda family to repel invading forces which include trap doors, hidden corridors, a lookout tower, and more. Reservations are required to walk through this fortress.
