A beautiful Japanese garden with a strong historical significance. Kenrokuen Garden was the private garden for the Maeda Family, who ruled the Kaga Clan (present day Ishikawa and Toyama areas) during feudal times. Inside the garden there is an artificial pond, a stone lantern designed to look like a Japanese koto (harp), and a fountain that uses natural water pressure. Here you can see all kinds of beautiful flowers and trees blooming all year round.
